October 24:

We have great news from our Illinois inspection site at Ken Borden’s Little Bit Farm! The three-year-old stallion Brioso (Briar/Furioso II), owned by Lil Bit Farm will be licensed for one year. Little Bit Farm presented another Briar offspring, Brilotta, a foal out of a Trakehener Carlotta II (Kasparow/Tivano) who entered into the studbook with a Premium B. Brillota scored 45 points (Class I) and received a 9 for her trot. Two Masterpiece (Master 850) foals were presented. Mosaic, out of Rosselinni (Flemmingh/Majestic Regent xx) owned by Marianne Mansfield received a 9 for type and a total of 46 points, Class I. Maestro, our of Friendly Furioso, dam to Brioso, received 45 points, Class I. Washburne SW by Wolkentanz II out of Opal (Opus) received 46 points, Class I including a 9 for trot. Opal was entered into the marebook with a Premium B. Kate Fleming–Kuhn owns these two as well as the high scorer of the day, Baylyn SW, a yearling who received 49 points (Class I) and had three 9, Type, HNB and trot for 49 points. Baylyn is by Bayron 885 and out of Opal. Bayron is also the sire of the yearling Bayroness VDH who is out of BeeBe by Briar. She scored 44 points. Teri Deuwer is the owner. Another yearling Osiris, (Okeanos/Troubadour/ Morgenglanz) was presented and scored 45 points and is a Class I. Wallstreet Z (Westporte/Robin Z) colt owned by Lisa Vorkapic, received 46 points (Class I). Panaches Acres Draper (Donavan/Bayron), a four-year-old gelding owned by Dan Patterson, received a Class I in his performance for dressage talent in the Quality Test.

October 23:

The inspection tour continues in Minnesota Viking territory! Ardy Prekker (Four Oaks Farm) is our host, and the judges commented on the well-organized site with a large audience and well-presented horses. Congratulations to Ardy and Pat Prekker and their team! Kathleen Tischler’s mare, Anticipation (Amorex/Sweet Shimmy xx) received her diploma for dressage talent. Four mares were entered into the studbook, Uarda IV (D-Day/Urbino) received her Premium AB. Uarda was shown with her Class I colt, Baybino, who received 45 points, is by Swedish stallion Bayron (Bernstein/Utrillo). Margo Brady owns all the foal, mare and stallion. Bayron is also the sire of Bogart, presented and owned by Renae Streich. Anastacia (Special D/Bonanza) entered the studbook as a Class I, and her colt, Alaska by Laptop, who received a Class I 45 points. Dusty Springfield, daughter of Anastacia, entered the studbook with her Class I colt by Soprano (Sandro Hit/Contender), Sebeka. Gambria Eze (Galapard/Pando) entered the studbook with a Class I score and her colt Nebraska by Rubignon, who received a Class I 45 points. Four Oaks Farm also presented Paprika (Utah Van Erpekom/Galapard) a filly receiving 45 points Class I and the yearling Chaska (Navrone/Briar) 46 points Class I. Francesca ( Floriscount/ Mix Max), filly owned by Donna Symanietz, received her Class I, and received a 9 for her trot. Congratulations to all!

October 22:

The inspection tour has begun and California starts it in splendid style! Two half-siblings received diplomas today! Four-year-old Midori (Mix Max/Cadenza/Vivaldi) received her diploma in the quality test, and her three-year-old brother Ruffino (Rosenkoenig/Cadenza/Vivaldi) received his diploma in the three-year-old test. Ulf Wadeborn and Lars Holmberg are the owners. Leslie Morse showed her two- year-old fillies by her horse, Sterling (Tip Top/Welt Hit II). Odessa (Sterling/King’s Ruby) scored a high 50 points and Ophelia (Sterling/ Rouletto) scored 48 points, both Class I. Camilla Fritze’s Tilde, a two-year-old by Tip Top out of HF’s First Lady, scored 45 points also receiving a Class I.
